Our Classes
Our craft classes are specially designed for children age 5-10, who will creatively explore a different theme each week. Our classes promote experimentation and building creative confidence. We believe children are natural artists and we aim to provide a space for their creative abilities to flourish.
What they'll take away:

- To make and take home their creations to proudly show you.
What's provided:
We provide all the art & craft materials. Children will take home their creations at the end of class.
We also have water and juice available, and snacks such as fruit and biscuits are provided. Please let us know on the booking form if your child has any allergies we need to be aware of.
Is this a drop off class:
We encourage drop off, but do understand if your child would like you to stay with them. You are welcome to stay and assist your child.
What to wear:
We provide aprons that children can put over their clothes. Some classes may be messier than others.
Level:
All ability levels are welcome. Classes are about exploration and having fun - there is no getting it right or wrong!
Dates and times:
Our Woodthorpe class runs from 3.45pm to 4.45pm on Mondays (term time only).
Our Tang Hall class runs from 4.00pm to 5.00pm on Tuesdays (term time only).
On Wednesdays (during term-time) we run an after-school club at Dringhouses Primary School. This is exclusive for pupils of Dringhouses Primary.
Every first Saturday of the month we have a class at Clements Hall (near Bishopthorpe Road)
10-11am.
Every last Saturday of the month we have a class at Costa Coffee in Haxby from 10-11am.
Our school holiday sessions will launch in Summer 2024.
Our approach:
Our classes provide children a relaxed environment to explore their creativity and give them freedom to explore different techniques. Classes are designed specifically for primary age children and with age appropriate crafts. Our main aim is to help children have fun and build creative confidence.
Price:
Classes are £8. This includes all the materials they need, tuition and refreshments. Everything they create in class is theirs to take home.
